So much has changed since St Teresa’s Prep School first opened in 1953! But the school motto of “Gaudere et bene facere” (Rejoice and do well) has always underpinned everything that goes on here – academic, pastoral and spiritual – and will continue to do so.

The Summer of 2009 saw another outstanding Ofsted report for our Nursery land on my desk to add to the one received in 2008 before our move to the new school and also to compement the ISI report received by the Prep School in Summer 2007. This was followed in Summer 2008 by another superlative report, this time an Ofsted report following an inspection of our Early Years provision in the Nursery. These two documents highlight something we have always known about the high educational standards achieved in this happy school but it was good to have the hard work of our wonderful girls and their dedicated teachers publicly recognised.

Now we are all enjoying being settled in our beautiful, new school! Equipped with the latest in teaching facilities and close to our wonderful Performing Arts Centre, indoor swimming pool complex and all weather pitches, we are all very excited about taking up residence in our new school! One thing has not changed however…………and that is our dedication to making your daughters’ time at school happy, stimulating, challenging and one which will provide her with the solid foundations and values she will need for the rest of her life.
