French Trip - Chateau du Broutel - May 2009
Yet another successful 'voyage scolaire' for our Year 6 francophiles!
What an action-packed week we had. We marvelled at the sealife in Nausicaa, visited local sites of interest, including an aircraft museum and a First World War cemetery, savoured chocolate fresh from the production line, cuddled baby goats, learned how to make cheese, rolled our own croissants and hit the supermarché with a vengeance. As if that was not enough, we climbed, kayaked, built rafts, sped along the zip wire and attacked the assault course commando-style, and still had the time and energy to rehearse for the summer production.

St. Teresa's Year 6 were game for everything and many conquered their own fears on some of the more challenging activities. The weather was kind to us too.
Not a day went past without a member of the public commenting on their impeccable behaviour, good manners and pleasant demeanour. We were truly proud of our girls.

Thank you Mrs Paradise, Mrs Miller and Mrs Browne for your invaluable hard work and support and thank you girls for making the trip so successful. Finally, parents, your daughters are a credit to you. Good luck with the laundry! Mr. Tim Martin, Head of French
